About the role
Analyzes and provides expert assessments to J3, the USCYBERCOM management team and supported CC/S/As of anticipated and new Joint and DoD policy and instructions relevant to Defensive Cyberspace Operations (DCO). Assesses potential effects on USCYBERCOM operations and recommends appropriate actions, including development of new/revised USCYBERCOM and supported CC/S/A policy and operations guides. Collaborates within USCYBERCOM J3 Directorates, JFHQ-DODIN, and supported CC/S/As to identify DCO, DoDIN OPS and cyberspace defense programs and strategies that are consistent with USCYBERCOM. Provides technical advice and consultation to USCYBERCOM J3 on all matters relating to malicious computer activity, malicious cyberspace actors (MCAs), DCO, DoDIN OPS, NETOPS, and cyberspace defense, and emerging trends.
