About the role
Serve as a liaison officer interfacing with senior leadership in order to ensure the appropriate approvals are obtained and to de-conflict operations for real-world contingencies. Coordinates with US country team and/or local representatives to identify potential exercise locations. Briefs host nation and/or local authorities to obtain permission for conduct of exercise activities. Lead and oversee special operations exercises, involving each of the Geographic Combatant Commanders (GCC) on a rotating basis. Plans and executes a series of global readiness exercises and short duration emergency deployment readiness exercises that directly support COMJSOC requirements. Provides regular exercise updates in the form of briefings, information papers and other product development for the COMJSOC, Director, and other senior leaders. Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) and lead in the coordination and execution of complex exercises and operational rehearsals that include combatant commands
