About the role
The duties may include, but are not limited to: Proposes policies and procedures for all domestic travel activities which conform to agency, departmental and government-wide management practices, and requirements. Performs required actions specific to travel management related to activity such as on-boarding (New Employee Orientation), separations, details, and deployments. Serves as a FATA for Concur which includes the following duties: E-authentication activation; setting up a new organization in Concur; Travel Administrator maintenance. In accordance with Program, Agency and Department guidelines, manages AC event attendance and serves as the point of contact for preparation, tracking and reporting. In collaboration with other Travel Management Specialists, acts as a point of contact for all travel (TDY, foreign, and relocation) in AC. Participates in or leads meetings, conferences, and work groups as designated to disseminate information prudent to travel policies and procedures.
