About the role

- Receives unit organization and Federal Agencies laundry and dry cleaning of bulk and individual customers. Counts number of items with the unit to ensure accuracy of laundry and dry-cleaning lists and makes corrections. - Marks items using a system operating a marking machine. Empties laundry bags on shake-out and sorting table. Compares tickets to clothes and annotates corrections on tickets concerning the number and type of items, colors, stains, holes, missing buttons, etc. - Assembles items for return to customer. Folds and compares against non-press copy of the ticket to ensure completeness; places the items in laundry bags or wraps and replaces them into sorting bins. - Assembles laundry and dry cleaning for shipping. Receives unit organization and Federal Agencies items (except DX items); sorts by unit markings, folds and compares against turn in documents and/or cash tickets to ensure accuracy. Issues all organizational items, drapes, etc., back to units.
