Supervisory Construction Control Representative

Actively participates in extensive construction and engineering management decisions relative to the military and civil construction missions. Performs and/or directs the full range of field construction and engineering functions. Performs the more complex and controversial assignments. Responsible and accountable for the following functions: participating in design review conferences with customers, the District Office, and private A-E firms design engineers, to discuss construction aspects of design and foreseeable problems Conducts pre-construction conferences on new contracts, purchase orders, etc., to clarify principal construction features, start-up administrative and contract technical requirements. Exercises final authority to approving contractors' construction schedules, safety program, quality control procedures, plant layouts, and road systems.
