About the role
Serves as first level supervisor in the Field and/or Resident Offices providing counsel, leadership, and managerial direction necessary for the effective accomplishment of the investigative and administrative responsibilities of the staff. Provides expertise and technical authority in the planning, development, management, and oversight of complex multifaceted investigative matters regarding criminal activities related to provisions of the Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act. Provide technical and administrative supervision over professional criminal investigators and investigative support staff, setting priorities, making assignments, and evaluating work accomplished. Participate in determining Agency program goals and resource allocations for national criminal investigation activities.
