Regulatory Scientific Reviewer (Toxicologist)

Plans and carries out assignments, resolves most technical conflicts, and leads multidisciplinary teams to address high impact, controversial or precedent setting issues withing their designated area of expertise. Analyzes complex data and guidelines or criteria for scientific review and approval for a class of products. Identifies risks, gaps, trends and reviews to establish agency policies for reviews of products. Conducts authoritative regulatory reviews in the areas of research, inspections and product release responsibilities. Assures that legal and policy considerations are adequately addressed, as well as technical matters. Advises on specialized research initiatives and product specific protocols.
