About the role
Oversee division directors' efforts to manage responsibility for arranging policy briefings with these leadership offices in CMS and OS, as well as HHS Assistant Secretaries, on behalf of CMS Centers/Offices. Provide expert advisory and analytical services to the Administrator and other senior Agency officials in making policy decisions during their meetings with CMS staff and the Office of the Secretary. Collaborate with General Counsel Ethics attorneys to review and vet the Administrator's and Chief Principal Deputy's meeting invitations from external organizations. Conduct work that develops and advances a variety of written policy products, including briefing documents, correspondence, reports, issue papers, contractor performance evaluations, and project evaluations. Ensure the principles of quality management are assimilated into the division's work by analyzing and identifying work barriers and developing ways to reduce them, promoting team building, and improving work processes
