Lead Contracting Management Specialist

Communicate assignments, projects, problems to be solved, actionable events, milestones, and/or program issues under review, and deadlines and time frames for completion. Advise the team and individual members in identifying the parameters of a viable solution; leads the team in: identifying, distributing, and balancing workload and tasks among employees in accordance with established work flow and specialization. Serve as a Team Lead for budget and contracting activities within the Division, and across the Group as needed. Oversee and monitors contractor performance, provides technical oversight, and mitigates and resolves budget and performance issues of contractors that support or participate in complex CMS health care programs. Develop, evaluate, and review regulations, guidelines, and instructions required for the dissemination of policies to Medicare contractors and other stakeholders related to the work of the Division.
