About the role
At the highest advertised grade, you will: Apply analytical and field methods to scientific, geologic, and environmental issues to ensure accurate, defensible data and effective, compliant program implementation that protects human health and the environment. Provide advice to state, local, and tribal governments on developing, executing, and monitoring environmental/scientific policies, plans, and programs to ensure compliant, effective implementation and achieve environmental protection objectives.
