Lodging Management Specialist (Resource Management)

The purpose of this position is to serve as an operation officer for lodging operations across the globe. The incumbent of this position assumes a key role in providing support to the Chief of Air Force Lodging, as well as continuing technical advice and assistance in the support of those operations; within operations, finance, and information technology branches of the Air Force Lodging programs. Assists with the establishment and implementation of lodging rates in coordination with SAF/FMC, AF/A1S, and AFSVA/FMNF. Reviews Air Force Lodging Fund (AFLF) funded projects for consistency with standards and compliance with established contracts and purchasing agreements and assists with processing purchase requests through the automated base services system or Internet-based purchasing system, monitoring the preparation of purchase orders and related contracts, ensuring receipts of goods and services, and processing vendor invoices for payment.
