Accounting Technician (Customer Support)

Performs accounting customer support to all customers. Performs full range of accounting duties through the use of the Oracle financial systems. Receives and responds to live phone and e-mail messages using the fully automated capabilities of Right Now Technologies (RNT) to assist customers in classifying and verifying a wide variety of accounting documents in order to ensure their mathematical correctness, completeness of information and to prepare/validate system control sheets with appropriate accounting codes. Assist customers in maintaining double entry bookkeeping journals and subsidiary ledgers and reconciling accounts, and transcribing to general ledger for closeout of all accounts. Answers customers questions on how to flow individual funds and specific monies from initiation through expenditure stages in order to trace discrepancies in the Oracle financial systems.
