What will I do in this position if hired? In this position, you will be serving as Risk Analysis Branch Chief in Region 10's Mitigation Division. Overseeing contract planning and budget execution for agency floodplain management mapping and related program priorities.Typical assignments include: Identifying opportunities for mitigation programs to better support agency response operations through risk identification, hazard overviews, and related products that improve regional decision making before, during and after disasters Supporting state and tribal staff access or leveraging grant funds that further their capability to lead to greater state and tribal ownership of their floodplain and emergency management responsibilities Developing, updating, and maintaining multiple program budgets to monitor expenditures including contracts, grants, and workforce operational planning.
