What will I do in this position if hired? This position is located in Region 9, National Preparedness Division. In this position, you will provide supervisory oversight for a multidisciplinary team that plans and delivers disaster preparedness programming in accordance with national doctrine, statutes, and policies. Typical assignments include: Leading regional emergency preparedness programs in accordance with national doctrine, statutes, and policies. Supervising and mentoring emergency management staff, setting priorities, assigning tasks, and resolving issues. Coordinating with partners across multiple sectors, disciplines, and levels of government to ensure integration and coordination of preparedness activities and effective emergency management capability building.
