About the role
Serve as an expert medical consultant and advisor to the Group Director. Work on Medicare payment policies and issues for inpatient and outpatient hospital services or Medicare value based programs. Evaluate proposals for changes in the Medicare payment systems, providing data and analyses to support such changes. Provide authoritative medical advice, guidance and input to CMS central office staff on Medicare payment issues. Serve as an Agency Liaison with physician, provider groups and other stakeholders.
