Insurance Program Specialist (Outreach)

What will I do in this position if hired? In this position, you will serve as an Insurance Program Specialist (Outreach). Typical assignments include: Overseeing and coordinating services provided by the insurance servicing contractor, re-solving insurance-related issues, and ensuring compliance with FEMA Headquarters policies and procedures. Conducting regional analyses, developing reports, and serving as Community Information System (CIS) Coordinator, ensuring proper training and support for Regional and State personnel, and acting as point of contact for Write Your Own (WYO) companies. Coordinating and providing guidance on complex insurance questions and issues in post-disaster situations, including outreach to agents, lenders, and State Insurance Commission offices, and support Joint Field Office (JFO) hot line operations. Assisting in the development and implementation of administrative procedures, work plans, and corrective actions for insurance servicing contractors, ensuring q
