About the role
You will evaluate logs to determine possible causes of issues using software such as network Monitor, Solar Winds, System Center Configuration Management (SCCM), System Center Operations Management (SCOM) and Splunk. You will update the shipyard’s disaster recovery plans to respond to new security requirements and be able to advise and present plans to IT management for review and approval. You will apply knowledge and skill in the latest Windows Active Directory Infrastructure, including Group Policy administration, Enterprise Domain maintenance, and DNS maintenance. You will use the latest Virtual Server and Workstation software / hardware infrastructure such as VMWARE ESX, Windows Hyper-V, or VMWARE VDI.; databases and web technologies, including Microsoft SQL Server and IIS You will interface effectively with senior management and diverse user groups to include oral/ visual presentations, utilizing good communication skills, and excellent analytical skills
