Recreation Specialist (MVO)

Works under the direction of the Outdoor Adventure Director, participates in a large year-round Outdoor Adventure Program (OAP),Trap and Skeet (T & S) Leads, teaches, organizes, advises on, assesses and administers outdoor recreation programs. Develops and submits all marketing requirements. Serves as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for OAP activities/programs, T & S. Interprets regulations, develops local compliance procedures and addresses related problem situations. Ensures programs operate in compliance with all applicable regulations, laws and operating instructions. Plans, organized, teaches, participates and directs program activities such as, but not limited to, white water rafting, kayaking, fishing, clamming, ATVing, hiking and canoeing. Establishes and maintains adequate inventory of supplies and equipment required to provide for uninterrupted operations. Ensures operations are adequately staffed and customer service is provided.
