About the role
GS-7 Performs developmental assignments. Performs developmental assignments of moderate difficulty where work procedures are established and a number of specific guidelines exist Performs recurring assignments. Independently performs recurring assignments of limited, but gradually increasing, difficulty and complexity Participates in special initiatives, studies, and projects Prepares written correspondence and other documentation. GS-9 Provides expert information and guidance to customers in response to inquiries or issues regarding travel and transportation entitlements for civilian PCS moves Prepares and publishes civilian PCS travel orders and amendments Participates in special initiatives, studies and projects Prepares written correspondence and other documents Summary Continued GS-9 The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Human Resources Specialist with responsibility for the full range of civilian permanent change of station (PCS) services for assigned organization
