Budget Analyst

The duties described are for the full-performance level. At developmental grade levels, assignments will be of more limited scope, performed with less independence and limited complexity. The duties may include, but are not limited to: Assist the Senior Budget Analyst in monitoring Division operations to ensure they are conducted in a fiscally responsible manner, within appropriate authorized levels, and adequately recovering costs. Assist the Senior Budget Analyst in conducting reviews and analyses of Division programs. Use Division’s automated billing systems to obtain billing information and track and analyze trends. Review monthly accounting reports to ensure the accuracy and completeness of Division’s billing and collections data. Prepare preliminary reports on operations of field locations, including offices, inspection points, terminal markets and processing facilities. Analyze user fees and provide recommendations for adjustments to the Senior Budget Analyst. Maintain accountin
