About the role
You will administer the command's Risk Management Internal Control (RMIC) and Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA) programs to ensure compliance with federal law and DoD directives. You will plan, write, and implement financial policies, procedures, and standards for assigned programs while proactively resolving potential systemic problems. You will perform budget administration, formulate cost estimates, review budget requests, control expenditures, and recommend alternative funding methods. You will analyze financial data to improve organizational efficiency and interpret the impact of budgetary changes on command programs. You will train senior managers on RMIC and GPRA regulations and represent the command in high-level briefings with other federal agencies. You will maintain key relationships with stakeholders, program managers, and OSD officials to facilitate issue resolution and meet command objectives.
