IT Cybersecurity Specialist (INFOSEC)

This position is located within the Office of Information Security (OIS), Specialized Device Cybersecurity Department (SDCD). The incumbent serves as a Department of Veterans Affairs Information Assurance/Cybersecurity Analyst. The incumbent reports to the Supervisory Information Technology Program Manager and System Security Support Director, Office of Information Security. Major Duties: Provides expert security advice and consultation in the implementation and risk management of IT networks, systems, and devices to ensure controlled accessibility and security compliance, as well as prevent and defend against unauthorized access to systems, networks, and data.
