Health System Specialist

Serve as the subject matter expert in the field of credentials and clinical privileging. Adapt general administrative principles, practices and policies to meet the specialized requirements of the credentials program. Ensure appropriate data is available at the time of privileging and re-privileging. Maintain and update reference books, regulations, SOPs and operating handbooks. Conduct internal reviews and audits of the Provider Credential Files and Provider Activity Files to assure activities of the office comply with the Joint Commission accreditation standards, Army policy and DHA guidance.
