DIS Deputy Director

Assist program product leads and contractors in designing, developing, testing, and implementing CMCS IT products with setting priorities, establishing objectives, and tracking key metrics, driving towards program objectives. Provide technical guidance to the staff, state and local officials, and outside groups and organizations to support the successful delivery of IT functionality to improve states’ Medicaid programs. Oversee contractors and guides staff in engineering, product, design, and research best practices; provides technical direction to Contracting Officer Representatives (CORs) and project leads for division contracts and grants. Review work performance of subordinates. Conducts formal performance appraisals through the agency performance management program. Gives advice and counsels employees on both work and administrative matters.
