QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST (SHIPBUILDING)

You will conduct internal programs, process, and ship overhaul audits to identify quality problems and opportunities for improvements. You will conduct investigations of reported equipment/systems failures to identify responsible parties, root causes and corrective actions needed to prevent recurrence. . You will conduct studies of work processes by collecting, sorting, grouping and analyzing process fata for quality trends. You will review training materials and assist in special quality assurance training classes for employees of the shops. You will prepare various monthly/quarterly reports such as process quality indicators, and rework identification. You will provide recommend quality improvements to the shop management based on lessons learned from audits, investigations analysis, and special studies results.
