Supervisory Health Insurance Specialist

Serves as a full deputy and "alter ego" to the Division Director, sharing full responsibility for managing all phases of the Division's work, except for precedential decision making, which is reserved solely for the Director. Works closely with numerous CMMI model groups including provider-based, state and population health, and value-based care models to design and execute learning supports for bidirectional learning that supports diffusion of strategies. Ensures that the principles of quality management are assimilated into the work environment by identifying work barriers and developing ways to reduce them, promoting team building, and improving work processes. Defines member’s assignments, reviews work for accuracy and supervises members’ training needs. Evaluates the performance of subordinate employees.
