SUPERVISORY ACCOUNTANT

Supervises functions involving the preparation, analysis, interpretation and presentation of accounting data. Coordinates, and implements policy and procedural improvements, as warranted, to correct identified operational deficiencies. Advises managers at activities serviced on the accounting and reporting for their funds. Provides professional direction to subordinates within the organizational unit. Reviews and analyzes new or revised accounting policies and procedures which affect program operations.
