About the role
The major duties of the Supervisory Recreation Fee Technician position include, but are not limited to, the following: Serve as a front-line, uniformed representative of the NPS, answering visitor questions and explaining the area's recreational opportunities, including NPS interpretive services, concession operated facilities and services, campground availability, hiking trails, etc. Perform assignments in accordance with all NPS and U.S. Treasury regulations governing the handling of government funds. Review and verify the functionality of new fee related systems or modifications to existing systems as a result of regulatory and program requirements. Review and verify the accuracy of manuals and/or standard operating procedures for the implementation of new and existing system designs and/or modifications.
