Supervisory Health Insurance Specialist

Supervise and directs subordinate staff as a first line manager and provides administrative, policy, and programs objectives, assigns tasks and evaluates the work directed. Oversee the development, interpretation and application of specific laws, regulations, and policies that directly govern the fee-for-service payment and finance policies of the Medicaid program and the related interactions with States. Coordinate the study of high priority program policies and issues confronting Division, Group, Center, and the Agency. Collaborate with other work units to promote information sharing and environmental awareness of States’ Medicaid and CHIP programs.
