FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST

You will analyze the interrelationships between appropriations and the various GL accounts and subsidiary accounts maintained in order to determine the need for and the type of adjustment necessary to reconcile and balance accounts. You will communicate both orally and in writing to express technical accounting policy statements to non-financial personnel in order for them to comprehend the impact of such policies. You will provide detailed explanations of and proposed corrections for abnormal account and report balances. You will manage financial management systems and official accounting systems financial reconciliation for echelon 3 staff and component commands, if required. You will ensures proper maintenance of all accounting records and reports with adherence to all financial and accounting policies and procedures.
