About the role
You will be responsible for instructing others to evaluate, plan, determine and organize repairs and modifications to aircraft, aircraft systems and components. You will determine what training specifics are required to determine the best method to make repairs, materials to use, and the method of repairs within standard procedures. You will provide leadership to shop personnel, and assist in the training of personnel as it pertains to typically performed duties on the job. You will instruct shop personnel in the implementation of new or improved production techniques and perform more difficult troubleshooting and fault analysis on production operations. You will recommend and use methods and procedures that contribute toward more efficient and economic machining operations, greater dimensional accuracy, and/or process improvement.
