About the role
Program, develop, and issue instructions according to Army and Corps of Engineers policies and programs. Serve as the principal coordinator between Logistics Management and the installation. Conduct detailed inspections to determine structural deficiencies, proper use, supervision of service contracts and compliance with public law, federal and state regulations. Prepare written reports for commanders, staffs, and responsible installation support offices. Serve as the Contracting Officer's Representative in regard to contracts dealing with janitorial and maintenance to district facilities and grounds. Interpret regulations, directives, and policies pertaining to facilities engineering and energy conservation. Prepare correspondence, reports and proposals related to district facilities.
