About the role
Exercises the Freedom of Information Act and Privacy Act (FOIA/PA) program controls over the US Army Intelligence and Security Command and its major subordinate commands; and the Army Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence. Develops and recommends policy and guidance for the overall conduct of the DA FOIA and Privacy Act Programs and establishes standards and procedures designed to assure command-wide compliance with pertinent statutory requirements. Establishes policy and procedures for effective management of all intelligence, counterintelligence and investigative and personnel security records in the US Army Investigative Records Repository, a Department of the Army records repository. Provides oversight on records management projects for the Department of the Army. Plans, directs and evaluates the operations of the office to achieve optimum work flow/production within all allowable fiscal and staffing levels.
