Lead Procurement Analyst

Serves as a team leader within the Small Business Unit. Provides guidance and assistance to procurement personnel on identifying and utilizing small businesses and socioeconomic programs to increase competition, reduce sole sourcing, expand production capacity, and increase the industrial base. Assists in the planning and establishment of local policy and procedures for implementing socio economic programs. Programs include, small business, small disadvantaged business, women-owned small business, historically underutilized business zones (HUBZones), service disabled veteran owned small business (SDVOSB) and related programs. Conducts data tracking and analysis to support Center small business initiatives and goal tracking/setting priorities. Leads outreach coordination for the Center to advise businesses on how to do business with DLA and plans/maintains appropriate marketing material.
