Medical Technician (Certified Medical Assistant)

Complete screening of patients for Privilege Providers to include recording chief complaint, blood pressure, pulse, respirations, temperature, height, weight, electrocardiograms (EKGs), and other moderately complex tests Follow standing orders for dose adjustment of immunization in accordance with Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP), Center for Disease Control (CDC), and other applicable guidelines. Instruct patients and families on various subjects, such as the proper procedure or following receipt of immunization in accordance with established protocols. Receive telephone calls, patients, and visitors to the medical facility to determine the nature of the call or visit. Explain all instructions and/or any diagnostic preparation related to the treatment plan.
