About the role
Supervise the Public Affairs Office staff, plans and assigns work to subordinates, and determine work schedules and priorities. Provide advice and assistance to the District Commander, Deputy Commander, Chief of Staff, and other staff elements on potential problems and effective responses on all matters relating to the public affairs program. Develop key messages and talking points related to the District's missions and programs that integrate Division, Corps, Army, Department of Defense and national policies. Design communications strategies for internal and external audiences that incorporate key messages and input from leadership and subject matter experts.
