About the role
You will independently perform nondestructive testing and analysis on complex and non-routine mechanical components, piping systems, and structural assemblies. You will utilize the most advanced test methods and procedures in solving inspection problems. You will inspect newly acquired items and complete in-service monitoring in both laboratory and field settings. You will acquire and record test results and data using enhanced signal processing and acquisition software on state-of-the-art computer-based platforms. You will verify and sign off on Discrepancy Reports which contain documented discrepancies. You will perform calibration and safety checks of test equipment prior to and after performance of nondestructive testing inspections. You will conduct radiographic operations and/or serve as Radiographer-in-Charge (RIC) for nuclear and non-nuclear radiographic inspections.
