SUPV IT CYBERSECURITY SPECIALIST (INFOSEC)

Serves as Branch Chief or Information Assurance Chief to coordinate, facilitate, and supervise members of the office, branch, or division, while providing technical guidance to matrix support personnel. Determines the best approach to achieve objectives; manages task quality, resource commitments, and directs the technical approach taken by government and matrix team members. Reports directly to the Chief, who relies fully upon the incumbent to execute a diverse universe of assigned and implied responsibilities while adhering to established policies and objectives. Provides expert advice to DoD customers, synchronizing DISA schedules to prioritize high-risk sites and serving as the compliance validation liaison. Serves as planning advisor to the Chief, participates in budget preparation and administration, and develops security portions of Service Level Agreements.
