About the role
You will provide technical directions of assigned aspects of the calibration quality assurance program to the workforce by ensuring that all calibration personnel are cognizant of required standards and procedures. You will be responsible for monitoring shop personnel and their assigned processes through spot checks, surveillance, and audits. You will analyze data to identify trends and trouble areas to recommend corrective measures and improvements to management. You will prepare and review official correspondence and formal reports related to the Metrology and Calibration Program. You will manage all aspects of the shop's laboratory standards and inventory, ensuring standards are recalled and calibrated prior to the expiration of the equipment's current status. You will work with management to continuously improve and manage the laboratory standards which ensures the laboratory's ability to meet workload demands.
