About the role
You will investigate, resolve, document, and reviews circumstances surrounding unusual dosimetry occurrences. You will prepare and evaluate reports of investigations, analyses and surveys to provide assessments, conclusions, and recommendations of program changes/modifications to fulfill the objectives. You will operate and maintain complex dosimetry processing systems. You will conduct personnel dosimetry investigations to determine personnel exposures in cases where malfunction of equipment or discrepancies are identified. You will implement and maintain complex analysis instrumentation and associated software and procedures for various types of routine and unusual radioactivity analyses. You will plan, lead, and provide technical assistance for the collection of routine and special environmental samples and survey data. You will lead the collection of a broad range of radiological surveys and samples necessary to assess the magnitude of the emergency and the risk to shipyard personn
