SHIP PROGRESSMAN (GENERAL)

You will utilize schedules and Workload and Resources Reports (WARR) to monitor, validate, and accurately report on resource allocation. You will investigate work delays, identify the root causes, and recommend corrective actions or schedule revisions to maintain project timelines. You will participate in planning conferences to help create a plan of action that supports the timely completion of projects. You will track the physical progress of manufacturing and repair work, preparing reports on advancement and potential delays. You will collaborate with Production Workforce Specialists to coordinate shop resources and recommend adjustments to manning as needed. You will provide crucial information at arrival conferences concerning the availability of shop resources and the project workforce. You will compile comprehensive reports detailing project resource utilization and evaluate shop performance against set schedules.
