About the role
Supervises, plans, directs, organizes, assigns, coordinates, and reviews the work of subordinate employees engaged in construction operations, contract administration, technical engineering, and administrative work. Develops and establishes methods and procedures for use in managing construction, for meeting overall schedules and for keeping at a minimum the government costs pertinent to construction. Make periodic inspection trips to the project site to ensure that construction is proceeding on schedule and conforms to contract plans and specifications. Ensures that safety provisions of the contract are strictly enforced. Manages the Corps Quality Assurance program for all construction work that takes place within the assigned geographical area.
