About the role
Serve as the District's principal expert for hydrologic and river engineering, responsible for defining, clarifying, and setting technical criteria for complex projects. Manage all assigned functions and studies in the areas of hydrology and river hydraulics for both the Portland District and external customers. Supervise the Flood Plain Management Services Program and the Silver Jackets Program. Plan, schedule, direct, and coordinate all technical activities, projects, and workflow for the River and Hydrologic Engineering Section. Perform comprehensive personnel administration, including assigning work, setting performance standards, preparing formal evaluations, and implementing disciplinary actions.
