Emergency Management Specialist (Direct Hire)

Duties described below are at the highest grade advertised. Duties assigned at lower grade levels will be of more limited scope, performed with less independence and limited complexity; duties will be commensurate with the grade of selected employee. Develops and implements a comprehensive disaster/emergency response and recovery program for the NASA Ames/Moffett Field complex including all tenants and resident agencies, developing and maintaining a Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan (CEMP). Develops, coordinates, reviews and maintains a Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP) to ensure compliance with Federal requirements and continued operation of critical functions during emergencies and disasters. Establishes and maintains a robust liaison program with Agency and other Center emergency managers, private industry tenants, federal, state and local governmental agencies.
