Attorney Advisor

Advises the OCLA Director, OCLA Associate Director, and AAERD Director on policy and legal matters as they relate to applicable federal statutes and regulation. Assists in the development, administration, coordination, and execution of plans, policies, and procedures for the division. Assists in the overall effective discharge of OCLA functions. Briefs the OCLA Director, OCLA Associate Director, and AAERD Director on legal issues. Provides legal interpretations and recommendations on strategies and approaches to matters that are highly sensitive and of a critical nature. Proposes, implements and assists, from a legal standpoint, in the management of Commission plans for accountability reports and audits within OCLA’s jurisdiction, including reports and audits conducted by the Government Accountability Office.
