Civil Engineer

Serves as the regional technical expert in Civil Engineering in the Pacific Ocean Division (POD) and principal advisor on matters of planning and engineering and construction. Reviews and interprets technical data, criteria and higher headquarters' policy and regulations and provide overall technical guidance for the Division of Civil Engineering features of work. Serves as the regional Dam Safety Program Manager and Levee Safety Program Manager for POD and leads in the region with respect to interpreting new or emerging policy, guidance and procedures. Provides programmatic, policy and quality assurance oversight of District Quality Control programs for engineering and construction products. Leads assigned Regional Communities of Practice (CoP's) and serve as the POD representative on national level CoP's.
