About the role
As the Associate Director, the incumbent fully participates in the establishment of program policy, procedures, goals, objectives, and standards for the agency’s outreach, education, and training programs. Provides senior-level oversight to Private and Federal Sector Division Directors, ensuring strategies, guidance, and program execution align with the Commission’s statutory mission, strategic priorities, and agency-wide policies. Oversees the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of outreach and training programs across both the private and federal sectors, ensuring consistency, quality, compliance, and effectiveness of outreach plans and training materials. Maintains an agency-wide view of outreach and training efforts and serves as a key link between division leaders, district offices, and OCLA, elevating major issues, trends, risks, and opportunities for timely review and decision-making.
