About the role
You will serve as a Architect and be responsible for planning, programming, real property, environmental and cost estimating for locations in the geographic Area of Responsibility (AOR). Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team. Typical work assignments include: Knowledge of the principles, methods, or tools for developing, scheduling, coordinating, and managing projects and resources, including monitoring and inspecting costs, work, and contractor performance. Knowledge of the concepts, principles, theories, and methods required to plan, design, construct, operate, and maintain facilities such as buildings, transportation systems, water and sanitary systems, and other public works systems. Participate in a multi-disciplinary team performing facility condition assessments at CG facilities.
