About the role
You will serve as a Financial Management Specialist and be responsible for accounting for all CEU financial and property accounts.. Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team. Typical work assignments include: Analyze financial and historical budget data to develop forecasts, estimates, and funding requirements for construction, maintenance, and operations. Prepare financial reports, narratives, and briefings for senior leadership and headquarters-level stakeholders. Administer internal controls, ensure compliance with fiscal laws, policies, and OMB/DHS/USCG guidance. Provide training and guidance to CEU personnel on financial systems (FSMS, MAXIMO, Oracle), property accountability and financial procedures.
