About the role
You will serve as a General Engineer and be responsible for planning, programming, real property, environmental and cost estimating for locations in the geographic Area of Responsibility (AOR) Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team. Typical work assignments include: Interface with CEU design teams to ensure coordination of maintenance projects with long and short term planning initiatives. Evaluate design and construction objectives to identify the most economical and efficient procedures for building renovation, design, and construction. Develop site specific technical assessments from available information including pas t facility assessments, older Regional Planning documents, and from all CG data sources.
